DO YOU WANT TO PLAY COLLEGIATE SOCCER?

If you think you have the skills and focus to take yourself to the next level, then follow this easy guide and prepare yourself to take the next step into collegiate athletics!


STEPS TO FOLLOW TO MAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!

STEP 1 - PREPARE

FRESHMAN / SOPHOMORE

Primary focus:

  • Practice proper sutudying habits
  • Achieve good grades in school
  • Learn to organize your time and schedule
  • Keep improving your soccer skills

Secondary focus:

  • Start exploring the different colleges / universities

STEP 2 - PRODUCE

JUNIOR

Primary focus:

  • Research different schools and majors
  • Make a list of 5-7 schools you are interested in attending
  • Introduce yourself to university soccer coaches
  • Record your games and create a compilation video of your skills (less than 5 minutes)

Secondary focus:

  • Attend university training camps
  • Visit universities you are interested in
  • Begin applying for as many scholarships as possible

STEP 3 - PURSUE

SENIOR

Primary focus:

  • Make official visits to universities you are interested in
  • Look for schools that suit your needs
  • Narrow down your list to 3-4 schools
  • Stay in constant contact with coaches you are interested in playing with
  • Send coaches video of your play (less than 5 minutes)
  • Complete your FAFSA as soon as possible (applications open January 1st of every year)

Secondary focus:

  • Continue applying for as many scholarships as possible
