FUTSOC COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP FUND AWARD

For the first time in our history, FUTSOC will be recognizing one outstanding student athlete senior from our club each year, who best personifies the profound values which our organization endeavors to impart on all its members. Notably, we seek that special individual who displays the utmost DEDICATION - SENSITIVITY - SACRIFICE - CONSISTENCY - HONESTY - PATIENCE - PASSION - SPORTSMANSHIP and HUMILITY!

This award – the FUTSOC COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP FUND AWARD will be a financial gift in the amount of $1,000.00, which will assist in their ability to defray the ever-increasing cost of college / university education.

In recognizing this special student athlete, FUTSOC is further supporting our mission statement, where we wish to become an integral extension of the central core influences of a youth's life, enhancing their personal and athletic development through the assimilation of our sound teachings and philosophies, so that they mature into the most positive social influences in all their future endeavors.

APPLICATION DETAILS

Application Deadline: March 31, 2022

A recipient will be selected by the FUTSOC Scholarship Committee by April 30, 2022. The Committee will review all final documentation submitted by the applicants.

To apply, you must be a qualifying highschool senior and provide proof of enrollment to a college/university of your choice. You must also complete the scholarship application. The application will including the following:

  • Complete an essay (minimum 1,000 words) describing what your experience with FUTSOC and how you feel it shaped your path for the future.
  • Upload copy of highschool transcripts.
  • Upload letter of recommendations:
    • One letter of recommendation from a teacher.
    • One letter of recommendation from someone outside your family circle (ex: employer, service organization, church leader, additional teacher, etc.)

NOTE: In accepting the award, the recipient agrees to their name and photo being posted in the FUTSOC website.
